“Hold on, I know it’s really her if I see one.” Dick places his hand on the girl’s shoulder. Granted, Beastboy went ballistic the other day then Raven has to calm him down. The poor guy can’t still face the fact that Terra is really.. dead. He has convinced everyone to accept that Terra is gone.
“I’m not sure if how can I handle this own too but unless my suspicions are wrong, I may have dealt with this privately.” Reincarnations are creepy, yet they sounded really alike..
“Terra is a good friend, an honorary Titan. I’m not sure if this is the result of our failure to save her.” Dick rubbed his head sheepishly and moved his other hand away, “Er, I’m sorry to have mistaken you as someone I know ever since she turned our back on us..”
[☄] — Swallowing his words silently, the blonde flinched upon the sudden physical contact; the steady look that was hovering on her face contorting into one of both worry and discomfort. Robin was much, much smarter than—forgive her—what his choice in uniform would imply…which, of course meant that her chances of being found out at that very moment seemed more than likely.
“It’s fine,” she offered, though in reality, it actually wasn’t. Luckily for her, he immediately dropped the glove hand and instead proceeded to apologize to her. Breathing in a hushed sigh of relief, Terra felt her eyes shoot toward the ground out of impulse.
“No way..” A look of surprise was shown on the Boy Wonder’s masked face, the blond was in fact frozen in a rocky state after the Titans made her an official graveyard. Yet, Dick was skeptical when he heard from Beastboy that he saw her in a regular highschool but he told him to leave it. “Is it really you? This is really impossible after you saved us from Sla-” Dick didn’t bother finishing the sentence. He hated him for lying to them. “I’m guessing the rumors are true then.”
[☄] — One glance stolen at the famed Boy Wonder sent the blonde’s fair features into that of a deer-in-the-headlights’ as the books clutched in her bony hands were clenched tighter to her chest. Her blue eyes glanced up at his shocked stature once more before gazing back down toward the ground.
Why is he following me? she thought callously to herself. It was bad enough that Beast Boy had pursued her only days—maybe weeks ago…but Robin, too?
Were all of her former teammates planning to do the same, as well? Would they never leave her be?
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” the former Titan merely replied, trying to keep her voice even.
